Rapid presented "the team for the future"

Several tausend Rapid fans were on board for the open day at the "Hanapi Stadion" in Hütteldorf, Wien .The club with the most trophies in Austria had presented new young team for the future, in front of the taunted fans who wanted title to come back in 14. Bezirk.

  

 - We have rebuilt our squad with several newcomers and many youngster. For results that we all want, we need more time and patience – said capitan Stefan Hoffman, who due to injury will miss the start of the season. 

Many Rapid fans came with their families and children’s and truly enjoyed in open day at Hütteldorf.  - We don`t want to miss a thing. Wien is our town, Rapid is our club, "green and white" are ours colours - said one of the "Rapidlers"

Day to forget for PSG in Graz

France champions PSG have day to forget in Graz, when host team Sturm beat them with 3-1 in international friendly match played in “UPC Arena” in Graz . The goals for Darko Milicic side came from Beric (26.) and Djuricin (28.). The third was scored by Vujadinjovic in 76 minite. Consolation goal for Laurent Blanc team was superb strike from 18. old Ongenda five minutes before the final whistle.

Zoidl wins “Ö-Tour”

Ricardo Zoidl from “Gourmetfein Wels” won the 65th edition of Austrian “Ö-Tour”. Zoidl (25) the 1.115 km long race won just 33 seconds in front of Kazakhstan’s Alexander Djatschenko and 50 seconds from third place Kevin Seeldraeyers form Belgium, both from Astana team. This was first win for Austrian born rider since 2008 year, when the race was won by Thomas Rohregger.

- Surely, this is highlight of my carier.I was so emotional at the end of the race. I felt like stoun had fall from my heart – said newly crowned champion, Zoidl.
