“Rekordmeister” Rapid had a narrow 1-0 win over Dila Gori. Once again “joker” was Luis Shaub who finised super counterattack three minutes from the first period.

“Cupsieger” Pasching lose 2-0 in Portugal from Estroil. Both goals came in first half from Goebel Evandro and Carlitos.

Webb didn`t makes the same mistake twice

Englishman in Zagreb. English referee Howard Webb sent off Ante Rukavina in 71 minute after dangerous tackle on Kaja Rogulj.

Seven minutes that put Austria step closer to Champions League

Austrian champions Austria Vienna move step closer to Champions league after astonishing 2-0 win against Dinamo in Zagreb in CL play-off match. After goaless first half , came the 7 minutes that ‘violeten” have so long espected.

68` "Meisters" broke the dead lock. Play superbly started on right then with simple passes ball came to offensive left full back Martin Leovac who unleash the “torp” that ended in Zelenika`s back.

 

71` Things got worst for the host team when Rukavina was sent off for dangerous tackle on Austrian defender Rogulj.

Wiener derby remain "frozen"

Wiener derby betwen Rapid and Avstria Vienna ended goalless 0-0. The match was played in front of 16.000 fans who haven`t too much to cheears. One hour Rapid played with 10- man after Palla was sent of. Despite player more "Violeten" didn`t couse big troubles to Barisic`s side. Both trainers we`re satisfied with the drawn.

Todorovski badly injured, will miss Bulgaria clash

Macedonian international Aleksadndar Todorovski was badly injured during the match Strum vs Admira. He was replaced in 28 minute. The first diagnosis of the medical department are very bad, they suspected in broken leg.

Todorovski is espected to be withdrawn from Macedonian squad for friendly match against Bulgaria next Wednesday. This summer he join the Austrian side Strum and was first team regular player.

Ins & Outs for Austrian Euroreprezentatives

“Rekordmeister” Rapid and champion Austria got their names for the next round of European football. Red Bull Salzburg was trashed out by Fenerbahce.

 

Red Bull was eliminated by 4-1 on agg by Turkish side Fenerbahce, who overplayd “bulls” in the second leg. Job was done in the first half, when host scored tree times and conceded only one. “Bulls” remain in Europe, but only in play-off for Liga Europe.

“Violets” remain frozen “0-0” on Island, but manage to go to next round thanks for the 1-0 victory in first match played in Vienna. Victory in this tie got them 3,5 million euro “Jackpot” and securing place in Europe League. Nenad Bjelica`s are side flying high and hoping for 10 million Euros Jackpot with getting in the CL group matches.

 

“Green-white” second year in a row are eliminating team for Greece. Asteras Tripoli was beaten with 3-1 in St Hanapi Stadium, in front of 15 tausend fans. 18-year old Louis Schaub was the hero of the night. He came off the bench and score “brace” in second half sending Zoran Basisic`s young side in to the playoffs.

The draw for the playoffs will be held in Friday in headquarters in Nyon.
